Financial Contribution for First Qualification<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some students and learners need to pursue their training outside of their community, the Lower North Shore or Anticosti Island in order to obtain a first qualification (SSD, DVS, TCST, PWTC, TCSIA)<a href=\"\/#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> or an internship that is not available in their community. The Centre de services scolaire du Littoral (CSSL) wishes to financially support these learners of all ages by offering them a maximum annual amount of $2,800 distributed in two payments*:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$1,400 for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> trip to the training of internship site and accommodation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$1,400 upon successful completion of training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* Financial aid may be granted for a second consecutive year in the event of a long-term training or internship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>2. Conditions for Financial Aid<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First qualification for the student or learner;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training\/internship program recognized by the Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c9ducation du Qu\u00e9bec (MEQ) and not offered in the community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Absence of financial aid from a government program (Services Qu\u00e9bec, SAAQ, CNESST, CLPN, SFA from MEQ, etc.)<a id=\"_ftnref2\" href=\"\/#_ftn2\">[2]<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full-time attendance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regular attendance to training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Satisfactory academic results;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permanent residence on the territory of the Centre de services scolaire du Littoral;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Financial Aid for Studies Outside of the Community Application Form <\/em>completed and approved by the committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access to the financial aid for studies outside of the community is only available once in a person\u2019s lifetime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the event of a student\u2019s or learner\u2019s withdrawal or expulsion, financial aid ends immediately without any notion of arrears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>3. Application Procedure for Out-of-Community Study Financial Aid<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Register to the MEQ recognized training;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete and sign the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/demo-cssdulittoral.devkz411.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Form.-Financial-Aid-for-Studies-Outside-of-the-Community.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Financial Aid for Studies Outside of the Community Application Form<\/a><\/em> available on the CSSL website;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach the following documents:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proof of acceptance to the training\/internship program;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of residence on the CSSL territory (driver\u2019s license, electricity bill or other);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send the form and documents to the following email address: <a href=\"mailto:se@cssdulittoral.gouv.qc.ca\">se@cssdulittoral.gouv.qc.ca<\/a> with FASOC in the subject line.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>All applications for the financial aid for studies outside of the community will be reviewed by a committee formed by representatives of the CSSL&#8217;s youth and adult educational services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>4. Special Invitation to All Applicants<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Centre de services scolaire du Littoral wishes to promote student perseverance and is constantly looking for inspiring stories of school success.
